Michael Michaud Survivor Tree 2-tone Dangle Earrings

Survivor Tree 2-tone Dangle Earrings

By Michael Michaud Jewelry

These Survivor Tree Dangle Earrings are cast in bronze from the leaves of the Callery Pear. Alternating leaves finished in gold and copper tones and silver plating. Handmade in New York City. 2"L

Originally planted at the site of the World Trade Center complex in the 1970's, a Callery Pear tree was discovered under the rubble weeks after 9/11. Found with snapped roots and a blackened trunk, it was nursed back to health. It measured 8 feet at the time of the attacks and now stands over 35 feet tall. It was replanted at the site in 2010 and stands as a testament to the resilience of both the city and country.

The Michael Michaud Jewelry collection is cast in bronze and sterling silver directly from botanical elements in order to reflect the intricate beauty of nature.

Please note that International Shipping on Silver Seasons is not available to Europe, Asia or Russia. However, shipping on these pieces is available to all other countries.
